8days /7nights Rome and Venice

Day 1: Rome, Welcome tour

Arrive at Rome airport. Private transfer to the hotel centrally located.
Later in the afternoon meet your English speaking guide and proceed for a walking tour of Rome where you will see the most iconic sites of the city with its baroque squares and fountains.
The Trevi Fountain, the Fontana Della Brancaccia (Fountain of the old Boat) located in Pizza d spagna, a meeting place for millions of tourists each year, and the Fountain of the Four Rivers in the famous Nanova Square are some of the most famous attractions covered through this itinerary.
Dinner at leisure. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 2: Rome, Imperial tour with Colosseum visit.

After breakfast, meet again your private guide to discover the greatness of the ancient Rome thanks to our Imprial Rome tour visiting the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Palatine hill with views over the forum and Circus Maximum.
Lunch at leisure and rest of the day free to discover the city on your own.

Day 3: Rome, optional tours.

Today you can have a free day at leisure or book an optional guided tour (Vatican Museums tour, trastevere food tour, villa d’ Este Gardens in Tivoli, Frascati wine tour etc…)
Day 4: Rome/Florence, welcome walk with Gelato/Cappuccino taste.

Breakfast, check out and departure by train to Florence. Arrival, accommodation in hotel 3 star near the station. free time for lunch.
In the afternoon meet your private guide for a stroll in the city Centre.
During this walk, you will have the chance to admire the most iconic sites of Florence. We can start from Piazza del duomo, situated between the white and green marbles of the Baptistery and the Cathedral, next to Giotto’s bell tower and under the brilliant dome of Brunelleschi. Then we will reach the ancient roman forum that later became the city’s Jewish ghetto: Piazza della Repubblica. We will walk along the main the main shopping street to discover the Parcellino’s market and ponte Vecchio, the most picturesque bridge in all of Florence. Not forgetting of course Piazza della signoria, the central square of Florence, headquarters of the of politic power and the heart of the social life since middle Age. Dominating the square is the loggia del lanzi, on the open-air sculpture museum with masterpieces such as Benvenuto cellini’s perseus, a large bronze statue over 3mts in height.
End the tour with a lovely tasting of gelato or cappuccino in one of the many historical bars.
Dinner at leisure overnight.

Day 5: Florence, optional tours.

Free day at leisure or book an optional guided tour (uffizi or academia gallery visit, market tour & cooking class, pizza- making class, wine & olive oil tasting in chianti, hiking & pin-nic, Vespa tour in Tuscany countryside, siena & san gimignano with dinner etc…..)

Day 6: Florence/Venice, walking tour.

Breakfast. Check out and departure by train to Venice. Arrive and accommodation in 3 star hotel central located.
This afternoon enjoy a walking tour with our local buddy guide.he will show you around what has been called ‘the most beautiful lounge in the world’ saint mark’s square with its famous Basilica, Doge’s palace and the most iconic sight such as Bridge of sights, the house of marco polo, Rialto bridge and many small hidden places. He will give you also some tips and suggest you where you can find the best places to eat.
You can optionally experience romantic gondola ride along Venice canals.
Evening at leisure.

Day 7: Venice, optional excursion to murano & burano lagoon islands.

Free day at leisure or possibility to book a group excursion to Murano & Burano to discover why the arts of glassblowing and lacemaking made these enchanting island so famous worldwide.

Day 8: Venice, departure.

Breakfast, check out. Private transfer to Venice airport and departure.
